Hakainde Hichilema Wins Presidential Elections & Becomes 7th Republican President of Zambia.
President of the opposition party, the United Party for National Development (UPND) Hakainde Hichilema (HH) has won the 2021 Presidential Elections and was declared 7th President by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) this morning around 02 when they finished counting the votes.
Mr Hichilema had lost 5 presidential elections and won the 6th contempt.
Zambians have spoken and this year a lot of Zambians voted more than any previous years. A lot of Zambians wanted change and a new government that would bring about economic development and create jobs.
His Excellency Mr. Hichilema was declared winner on 16th August 2021. He had 2,810,757 votes and the former ruling party had 1,814,201 votes.
Mr. Hichilema will serve as the 7th Republican President Of Zambia and will lead Zambia for the next five years till the next Presidential elections.
